Recommendations For Highway Peg Mounts
« on: August 03, 2011, 06:34:52 PM »

I am looking to mount highway pegs on a FLSTSE2 with a mustache bar and am looking for recommendations for the mounts.  I did a forum search and there seems to be many different opinions. There are offsets, 360 rotating, angled, straight etc mounts.   I will be using rumble pegs and am 5'9" with a 30" inseam.

I am about the same size and inseam and they work great.

What kind of engine guards, or highway peg mounts do  you have?

I just tried two different sets of Kuryakyn Adjustable mustache bars on my 2010. On both the bolt holes on the pieces were completely rusted and were not usable - the threads where shot, and couldn't get a bolt threaded. I talked to their customer service two different times and they didn't seemed to care very much so I'm looking for a different solution to mount highway pegs.

My 2011 conv. already had a HD Moustache Guard on it when I bought it.  It looks good on it and the top foot rests work OK, but am still looking for the right mount to put some pegs on it.
