Hey fatboy;

What's your dealers name & ph#? I'd be interested @ 40k. Pickups sell for a premium in these parts, you couldn't even get a plain jane 3/4t for that price.

Bungy,

"PM" me your phone number and a good time to call. I'll hook you up with my contact.

Remember I got $5500 in free discount money directly from Ford (rebate, loyalty, auto show).....I don't know how that will impact an out of state buyer........... [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

But I'd be more than happy to try and help.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I have thought of changing to those!  The accessory budget goes only so far...the spoiler on the Tonneau, which I HAD to have set me back an additional $300!

That is a sweet lookin truck. I like the 4 door and diesel![smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]What's the sticker, around $40 grand?

JR,

MSRP on the Amarillo is low to mid $50's depending on options. And you can get it in a Dually package. I saw a dually here yesterday with an 6" or 8" lift kit on it......man it was awesome.

You can buy one much cheaper "if" you qualify for all the rebate's. Local dealer has a used one with 7000 miles on it for $39k.

I'd sell your's outright (or via ebay) if your serious........you'll get more $$$ that way.

Then fly into Columbus and drive home a new toy!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

You won't a deal this good everyday.......I hear most Ford Dealer's want full sticker for one of these puppies. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Hell my wife was the one who wanted to move up from the F-150 to the Super Duty once she saw one and test drove it.  [smiley=oops.gif]

I was happy with my 2000 f-150 Harley Edition at the time.  ::)

But once you get used to a Super Duty you won't want to go back!  8-)

I have a 2005 F250 Harley Edition Blue with Blue Flames
Banks 4" Monster Exhaust , DiabloSport Predator and balding tires.
Just like yours WFP. Up here in Canada the winters are long but the truck
helps keep a smile on my face.
Just a few weeks ago down in Daytona I picked up the ultimate,
1972 Harley Davidson Golf Cart. This thing is too much fun.
I was terrorizing the neighborhood on the weekend ,what a laugh. ;D ;D

Once again I have fueled my sickness. The wife calls me at work and says "Honey, I'd drive one of those new HD F150s...

So off to the dealer we went.

Now we have "His' & Her's" trucks.

I have the 2005 SuperDuty
She has the 2006 F150

As for my truck, I love it. Gidde-UP!

As for hers, I have never driver a nicer riding or handling truck. HOWEVER, it's the slowest turd we have ever owned.

I have my work cut out for me. Diablosport hasn't released the 2006 rev for the Predator Programmer yet. So we are on hold there. Ill get the Airaid Intake and Magnaflow exhaust ordered this week. Ground Force Suspension has lowering shackles for the rear that don't change the ride, just lower the rear 2" to match the front. Those will be coming as well.

I guess Ford has some economy issues too?
They just announced that they will be closing the F150 plant in Norfolk! :o
It has been building Fords for 83 years and F150s since 1974.
They just spent $325 million remodeling the plant several years ago but they say it still costs $300 more per truck to build them in Norfolk. The plant will be closed in two years.

Eagle,

Closing the Norfolk plant is painful, since it has historically been among the highest quality & productivity plants in the company.

One of the things that I didn't like about the Fords was the height.

Looks much better

All due respect guys, all due respect, but no matter how nice they are, they are not Harley Trucks. That's like buying a Yamaha Star and calling it a Harley in my book. Sorry guys, but I paid a price to have the real deal and I'm not gonna give up the title of  Harley Truck to anyone with a pickup who owns a Harley. This thread is titled
" New Harley Truck " If you want to show off your fancy Chevy, Dodge or (ugh) Toyota start a thread titled " My nice truck I use to haul my Harley "  I'll be the first to say hey Dude, nice truck, especially the Rumble Bee, Viper motor Dodge or the really cool Chevys.

That's kind of what I was thinking. I just did a search for "truck" and "trailer" and here's where I landed. The thread had been dead for a while and looked like it needed revived. Sorry. I didn't think my entry deserved its own thread.

Hmmm...Here is a question right on target with the subject line.

I have a 2005 HD F250 and a 2006 HD F150. Both, I repeat, both have issues with the factory HD bedmat. Any other genuine HD truck owners having similar issues? The white cords are bleeding thru the black. The mats looks like white paint has been spattered all over them. I warranteed one already, Im on my way to two more.

That was a very common issue with the 02 and 03 model year Harley F-150s.  I did get one replaced but as soon as I slid a few things across it, the white was back again.  Just like you said......looked like white paint spilled on it, if you were looking at it from the tailgate or over the side......but if you get up close to it you see that it's white threads or cords.

Of course it does. There's some really cool trucks out there and a hot truck thread would be great. Also since you've got one of the coolest muscle cars around in that GTX, a thread on members with muscle cars would be a welcome subject. I'd love to see if anyone's got a 66 Chevelle 396 or a 71 Mustang 428 Cobra or whatever.

True. Only difference is you'll know this rather quickly. Like before you leave the lot when picking vehicle up. Thing about the Armor All on the windshield is you don't know it right away unless it's raining when you pick the vehicle up. Otherwise it could be days until you find out, and when you do you really get the pucker factor because you can't see chit. :nervous:

Saw one of these at the Aaron's 499 at Talladega this year.........along with its King Ranch brother.  Doggone nice trucks.  Very nice as a matter of fact.  I used to be a Ford man.  I owned a 1982 F100 with a 300cid and C6 tranny.  Great truck, and it hauled me and my stuff around for better than 430K miles.  When I got a hankerin' for a diesel tho', I couldn't bring myself to consider a V8.  I remember the M930 series 5T trucks we had in the Army.  They are Cummins powered, and that is just such an awesome engine and much simpler with less moving parts than a V8 diesel.  So I bought my Dodge and have really enjoyed it.  Now, if Ford ever puts a Cummins diesel in their trucks, I'm trading.

Has anyone seen one in Yellow yet? [smiley=nixweiss.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] ;D [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=banana.gif]

                                                          JR [smiley=banana.gif]

Yep, in Sacramento.  Some of you know that I use to be the director of the Nor Cal Harley Truck Club.  We had a member who owns a AAA tow service and a fleet of little "lock out" trucks.  His flag ship truck is an 02 Harley F-150 painted inside and out, the bright AAA tow truck yellow.  You'd love it JR.  I thought I had a picture but couldn't find it just now.  He has it tricked out with sound/video system, etc.  Under the toneu cover operated by remote control, hydraulically.......he has a complete portable key shop.  He can even do the factory OEM keys that have the chips in them like BMW and Mercedes.

Anyway, for those of you that have the Ford Harley edition trucks, you may be interested in this forum........  http://www.nhtoc.com/vbforum/index.php
