New Klock Werks fender
« on: May 22, 2011, 01:52:05 PM »

OK, I always thought the OEM fender was too high up off the wheel and too big looking. Just blah basically. So, I got me a semi-custom fender, found a guy through my dealer, that was good at matching CVO paints(HD doesn't release them to anyone, not even PPG ). I am not going to give this guys name or business out because he had my fender January 5th. Said "You'll have it in 4 weeks tops." I just got it this past Wednesday.

So, here's the OEM fender;

And the new Klock Werks fender;

Gotta say, it's a great color match and looks good. The fender is just what I was looking for, lower to teh wheel, follows the back of the wheel instead of straight down. I like it

Looks great, don't feel bad some of the paint work I have had done in the past took over 6 months to get back on a 4 week deal.

Looks outstanding! Could you post a shot of the whole bike with the new fender? Would like to see how the whole package looks. Had a similar paint experience with an excellent local shop. Took him a few tries and almost 5 months to match a set of saddlebags for my wife's SE Deuce. Was worth it in the end, but he said it is challenging work.

As they say, time and money, if you have more of one, you can get by with less of the other.

Yep, like it a lot. More streamlined. Less bulky. (sounds like a beer). Great mod!

+AGREE me too. I bet a lot of people won't even know it's not the OEM fender! I changed the Road King fender to a Fatboy for the same kind of effect.
