Why I lavish attention on my Harley-Davidson

I seek perfection in one, just one area of my life

A) I am a perfectionist in my  mind, but quite the opposite in body.  I've got more things wrong with me than most people in retirement homes. The majority of it I can't do anything about.

B) I do my absolute best every day at work, but there's always a boss somewhere 3,300 miles away with " a better way "

C)My children, the source of great pride, love and joy have grown up and moved on.

D) My wife, as much as I love her; well her job is to remind me of what I need to do to fix A

E) Even my friends have opinions on how to better myself

But, my Harley-Davidson is like a kept woman. So long as I lavish money and attention on it, it gives me great pleasure.

And you know what ? I think it's a bargain.

I'm a cowboy, and a steel horse I ride!   My scoot, destination somewhere south, maybe Daytona, no old lady, cell phone or work worries.   The glare you get is one of jealousy, enjoy the ride.

This is a small observation from another prospective....

Your house is the single largest monetary investment one will make in your life........most of our bikes are the second.....I know some of you rich bastards have a more expensive car or boat or plane.........anyway.....do you treat your house like chit .....didn't think so
