Your favorite Charity Organization
« on: November 20, 2009, 02:41:35 PM »

With the Holidays approaching. I thought I would try to start a list to provide options and feedback for those who are interested in helping out and also a place for those who are already helping to share their experiences.

We support both the:

Both experiences have been extremely rewarding.

Charity Navigator is one of many tools available to research the various charities. They can be found here http://www.charitynavigator.org/

For the most part, I keep my donations local....  This is the receipient of most of my charity donations...

I used to drive past this place every day on the way to work.  Tear your heart out to see these kids....

St Judes Hospital - www.stjude.org

When I was in college my Fraternity held a boxing match every year to raise money for them.  I have continued giving over the years.  Now that I have children I respect & appreciate what they do even more.
