I don't remember the members username.  But it's Hoist's buddy.  Pictures were in the Hoist party thread.  Very clean install of a Zumo.

Hello, I was at the Hoist bash and you may be thinking of my Zumo.  I am resizing pics and will post them shortly. Rich

Hello, Take a look at pics.  I used the Techmount Handlebar Mount #30999MC and Techmount Quick Change Adapter # 60003.  I had a problem with the 1 1/4" handlebar mount and Techmount changed it out for a 33ML size since the stock handlebar was not actually a true 1 1/4".  I suggest measuring the circumference of the handlebar and verify you get the correct size mount.  Rich

I am having one problem with my Zumo on the bike, but not in the car.   I connected the Zumo power to the battery and it is not working properly and verified I have a good connection and cannot figure out the cause/problem.  It runs on the Zumo battery at times when it should be running from the bike's battery.  Let me know if anyone has any advice on this.  Rich

What are you using for a power source on the bike?

Edited to add I see it's connected directly to battery?

I will work with it tomorrow and if no good results will contact Garmin and get a new cradle.

It could be a bad cradle. :nixweiss: I'd check all the wires to see if something is grounding it (frayed wire) and connections are good. With it being intermittent I would lean more toward something grounding out or not making a good connection all the time.
