I love the sound system with teh speakers and the Ipod works fantastically!~
Picked it up on Friday and put 700 miles on it this last weekend.
I need to add the highway pegs and rider backrest. Shame it doesnt come with the mount for the rider backrest spending this type of $$.

Rider Backrest and Mount is stock on the CVO Ultra's and especially on that Special CVO Ultra. I'm surprised that they didn't mount your road pegs for you as you were taking delivery of the bike. Its a nice touch in customer servive?

Yes, you would have thought Harley would have at the very least added the bracket for the Street Glide CVO. I didnt care for my other Highway pegs and didnt think about taking them off. I was already late leaving for a trip. Yes, I picked it up and rode it 700 miles. Only 300 more till my first service.
They did agree to take off my chrome switch covers and install on the new bike, took off my Zumo 660 and wired that in, and took the 3 minutes to install my fairing mount pouches (Oh boy)...
Only now I have the Zumo with MP3 and the built in Ipod.

On the backrest I guess you dont have the mount. SEUC come with them.

Just went and got my wife hers yesterday. The dealership said she need that one lol. Have to say will blow you out the seat if volume is all the way up. Now 2 black bike in the harley room. She will get some pics up soon. It is a fine bike.

Yes, the IPod does show up on the radio. You can change the playlists, select an artist, etc. just like from the iPod itelf. Really cool!
Traded in my 2007 Ultra Classic for it. I will miss the man-trunk (as a freind of mine calls it) but I don't miss the looks I am getting right now!

Congrats on your bike. I am waiting for a green and black one, should be here sometime in oct.
Does the seat have the slot for the rider backrest? If so is the backrest mount under the seat from the factory? Cant tell from the pictures, and havent seen one in the flesh yet.

The seat has the slot for the backrest but no bracket and no backrest. Looks like its going to set me back $250 plus shipping for the snakeskin rider backrest.

And no the CVO does not light up on the tank. The only lights there are the LED's that are the fuel gauge since they removed the fuel guage and air temp from the fairing to make room for the tweeters.

WOW! Congrats on the new scoot. I can't find a dealer in Phoenix that has ANY CVO due in for at least 6 weeks to look at and you picked yours up already. Is that a 2010 Candy Concord still on the floor behind yours in the pic? Wonder what kind of deal a guy could get on that one now

Yours is a very nice lookin bike. If HD would have blacked out the motor on that one and it was blue instead of red in the highlights I would be in trouble. Wife would probably leave me for tradin Blue Thunder after I put everything I have on it.

Congrats on the new bike. I picked up my Black Diamond/Crimson about a week and a half ago and have loved every second of it. I've had several CVO's in the past including the one I just traded in, a 2009 Springer CVO and this is by far the best bike yet. I've added the V&H 4 1/2" High Output pipes, moved the pegs up front and added the CVO Ultra passenger floor boards. I've also ordered the auxilary light kit and 13" 1 1/4" mini-apes and stealth luggage rack. Lovin it.

I'm curious about the wheel too, although I'm coming from a Deuce with a 21" wheel, so I can't imagine it will be anything but an improvement for me!

I just wish I could feel 100% confident in my color choice. I saw the orange one at the dealership this weekend, but I've ordered the black/crimson one.

BTW, the 2011 brochure said nothing about including an indoor storage cover with CVO logo. So did you get a CVO cover with your new bike?

We just got our new Street Glide CVO and ours has the back rest on it already

It comes standard with the passenger backrest not the rider back rest.
