Tank 3m gaurd

just noticed on front of my gas tank where the seat sits no protective clear gaurd on ,have it on side covers and rear fender but not on the gas tank,my older cvo's has the clear guard my 2011cvo does not ,So what I'm asking did any of these bikes this year come with it on the gas tank or did they leave mine out?

None of my CVOs have come with clear guard on the tank where the seat sits.  Would have been nice.  I get rub marks from my jeans right on the very end of the tank by the seat.

Not on mine either, but I have the Autumn Haze colour. It seems to hide the scuff marks anyways.

This is one of the first things I do too my bikes and cars. Well worth the money. On the bikes I cover all forward facing exposed areas as well as the area where the tank and seat meet.

I wasn't aware that any of the CVO's came with paint protective clear film on the fuel tanks.  My SEEG didn't, and I can't remember seeing it on any of the other CVO's I've seen since then. :nixweiss:

Anyhow, if you want to just purchase some of the material for some do-it-yourself applications, the best place I've found to buy small quantities is a place called Pro-Tint.  You can buy the 3M stuff by the foot in various widths, or full rolls.

My 2005 cvo v-rod had it from factory the 2009 cvo road glide did not since the seat had a gap between the seat and the tank.LMAO
