I had a leak at about 7k. Noticed it on my summer trip to Montana, the gasket on the oil filter adapter. The service dept. in Boise said they had seen it before. I waited until I got home and fixed it myself. A little oil leak looks like a quart lost when your putting on miles out on the road. Glad I was trailering home from Red Lodge MT. My whole bike would have looked like an oil slick.

I had an oil leak on the ride home, pinched gasket.  Took it in for the 1000 mile service and they called me and said the compensator was bad and had to be replaced, waiting on parts now.  2011 CVO SG2 black and orange.  I hope they get it done before bike week.

I still have the leak. Now they ordered the oil cooler gasket or back plate. Just carrying extra oil with me!

My dealership is awesome. Dropped it off yesterday to repair the leak (new gaskets) and they replaced the right rear tailight as well because they saw a crack in it (under the plastic). They called me by lunch today saying it was ready.
