I love mine. When it gets to one light start looking for fuel. Getting rid of that worthless air temp gauge was a good idea. My bike seems to be consistently getting about 35 mpg , x pipe, TTS, 1.75 baffles , all from Fullsac. You can go 175 -200 miles pretty easy on most of a tank.

I love them...I had installed them on my '08 FLHR prior to getting the CVO. I watched them pretty closely comparing them with the range on the trip meter / gas mileage range and was pleased at how accurate / consistent they were.

I have the LED on my 09 Fat Boy too. Its blue and a lot brighter than the red LED on my 2011 CVO FLHXSE2. Its hard to see the red in the daytime, the blue shows better.

Whew, I thought it was just MY bad eyes that had trouble reading the dots in the daylight.   :(

I put the Black ones on my Kryptonite bike.  The LED's are blue and just "OK" in the bright sun.  Funny, I didn't have the Chrome with the red LED's on it long enough to notice!  :)

I guess you orange gas pump on your speedo will be your saviour, I have found on my Springer which has the red led`s, that the second to last led is very difficult to see without adjusting riding position and the orange gas pump is also quite difficult to see on the tank mounted speedo

Yes the LEDs are hard to see if the sun is shining on the gauge.  I sometimes have to shade it with my hand to see them.  BUT,  between the fuel mileage countdown on odometer, miles you ride, gas pump lite on speedo and tank LED gas gauge You know how much fuel you have!  All the indicators work pretty accurate on my bike. I was skeptical of the LED gauge having owned an 09 and 10 SG with the needle gauge but have been pleasantly surprised with its accuracy.

You don’t stop riding because you’re getting old, but you get old when you stop riding.

The countdown begins at 50KM. It starts dropping by 1 and sometimes 2 km so it is not actually 50KM. Once it gets to about 20km it just reads LO which means get some gas ASAP or you are going to be flat footing or pushing about 860 lbs... ;D

Just remember for most riding, at 150 miles start looking for a gas stop, at 175 pull over and get gas, at 200 push your bike to the next gas stop!!!!!

Aha!!! yes your miles to empty count down, I dont have that feature on my Springer which makes it a bit of guess work on how much gas is left, I agree its pretty accurate but depending on the days style of riding its always a bit of guess work to get the max mileage before fill up
