The wife and I both use there vest hers is a couple 3 years old with the separate controller
Mine is only about 4 months old has the built in controller. We have not had any problems and they have worked well they heat up fast and I have not turned mine past med. She also has there gloves and won't leave home without them.

I have two of their wireless controllers.

One controller for my heated seat, and one for clothing. For clothing I have a Widder Vest from 1993, a Powerlet heated liner from 2001 and a Gerbings from 2008. I've lost so much weight I've out grown the Gerbings. The Powerlet is starting to wear at the seams. For my next investment I will probably go with the heated shirt by Warm and Safe. Fits right against the skin for maximum warmth with no bulk.

If you go onto Revzilla, you will see lots of options.

Warm and Safe is offering a "trade in" program too.

https://www.warmnsafe.com/collections/heated-jacket-liner-trade-up

I just bought the heated shirt. I sent in my old worn out Powerlet jacket liner, and the price dropped from $189 to $129. I hope to have it in a couple of days, and if the rain stops I'll ride and do a full review.

The shirt is appealing to me because it's less cumbersome than a liner under a jacket. I like that it fits right next to the skin, and warms directly as opposed to having to heat through layers. And I can wear a T-shirt or vest over it for extra warmth.
