Good afternoon everyone,
My name is Mike but everyone calls me Gunny. For obvious reasons 24 years in the Marine Corps. I have extensive experience working on Harley's been riding them my entire life. Started with a 52 pan head now I have a 2018 softail deluxe stage l to stage V. Including removing Harley's ECM and replacing it with the new ThunderMax. Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. I do all my own work I take nothing to Harley even of its warranty.

That is my favorite engine in my opinion that is the prettiest engine Harley has ever designed. Unfortunately, no my pan was a 52 pan with a 64 shovel bottom. I wrote that home in 1970 from Camp Pendleton all the way back to Philly. And I took the southern route and during that time drugs were a big deal. I think I got stopped every 100 yards. If you have a V-Twin they do make pan head rocker box covers. They do not make them for M-8.

Thank you for the warm invitation. Right now I am not too consumed with the bike. We just experienced hurricane Dorian here in Florida wasn't too bad but it was bad enough didn't even come close to what the Bahamas experienced. However, last night we experienced heavy winds rain bands today when the sun comes up I need to check my roof. I've been riding my entire life I'm very well familiar with all the events here in Florida I ride with Combat Vets. Thank you for the warm invitation and all the information you provided.
