Any riders running these on the stock M8 head pipe ?

I see they offer a variety of baffle inserts…

Yes, ran these on my ‘21 CVO RG & now on my ‘22 CVO RG. The finish I chose was to match each of the bikes unique finish as KW matches them perfect. They sound great and you can change up the sound with easy install inserts. Two thumbs up for me! Good luck with your decision.

Thanks for your reply....have you ran the full louvered insert...wanting a deep not tinny tone....NOT like a Rinehart tone

Yes, the louvered insert is the best balance of sound and torque in my opinion. I usually wait until the stock KW muffler starts to change tone as it breaks in then I install the louvered insert. I have about 2000 miles on mufflers, at about 3000-3500 miles I’ll install it. I purchased it when I purchased the mufflers because of inherent supply issues and price increases.

I just recently acquired a green fade Road Glide & I think the 4.5 muffler in gloss black with the angled tips to follow the saddle bags will look really nice & I’ll go with the full louvered insert

Perfect! You will love it!

yes, I run them on my 2021 cvo limited, khromewerks mufflers have a unique signature sound, nothing like rineharts. I love the dbx45 pipes, had them on my 2017 cvo limited and now on my 2019 rgs. The khromewerks mufflers came alive when I changed the cam on my cvo and sound different but just as good to me.

Is the gloss black you speak of called "Eclipse" on the KW site?
-
The gloss black are called gloss black, they also have a regular black finish. Eclipse was a cvo finish like smoke chrome.
-
I believe the new gloss black is call "Obsidian". I contacted KW in regards to their full exhaust system in Obsidian and they said they were trying to get it out to purchase in the next few months.
-
I put a set on my 2022 cvo Road Glide. I choose the eclipse version to match the smoked chrome. The slip-one sound great. Nice rumble as you travel along and a great bark when you give it the gas. Highly recommend!

Hi all,
I was also looking at these, in the Eclipse finish for my 2022 cvo with the scorched chrome.
I read that these don't fit Euro5 compliant bikes from 2021.
On the website from Tab Performance, I read something simular:
"International Note: Some international 2021-Up Models use a special gasket in between the muffler and the head pipe. If you have this set-up you will need to replace your headers for any after-market pipe fitment."
Does anybody know what this special gasket woul look like or how I can check if my bike has it?
Thanks!

Here's a great tool to find out a lot on your bike. I keep it bookmarked for all my questions of "what does it look like," and so on:
https://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/ronnies/showmodel.asp?make=hdmc (https://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/ronnies/showmodel.asp?make=hdmc)
Go to this link, then select HD, then year, then your bike. You'll get to the exploded views of each system (like exhaust), which will also have the part numbers below. On your '22 FLHXSE, it shows items #43 and 44 are gaskets, found only in those bikes that went to certain countries or regions (which are listed). For example, England, HDI (HD International), Japan.
Here it is: https://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/ronnies/showmodel/13/harleydavidsonmc/1380 (https://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/ronnies/showmodel/13/harleydavidsonmc/1380)
Enjoy and good luck.

That’s great info, thanks a lot!
I think I will go for Fullsac baffles. The only issue is getting them here.
I was corresponding by email with them but they are unable to find my address and so to make a quote for the moment.
