Not Beer Friday today, but it is the last day of 2008.

Saw an article today on a Sam Adams Chocolate Stout that looked really good, not sure if that is what will be in store for tonight....

On our trek we did stop at our favorite Cajun place, Prejeans.  Mmmmm..... alligator & crawfish.

I hope you mean the chocolate stout and not the chocolate bock.  The bock is on tap at my local distributor perveyor for $29 a growler.  YIKES!  The stout is more resonable.

It was the chocolate stout.  About $15-17 per bottle as I recall.

Have not watched any bowl games, yet.  Had planned to watch the Simian Corporal Punishment Bowl (formerly known as the Flat Spherical Jerk Bowl) but missed it completely.

The Barrett-Jackson reruns are good though.

Happy New Year-ah!

Wow, reply # 3,000 in one of my favorite threads!  Thanks Iski, for starting it all!

I've had a lot of the "dry" Molsen and Labatt products over the last 20 or so years since they became available.  what they did was do away with the maltiness that we expect from a good beer.  The "drys" are easily over powered by hops or high alcohol without the mouth feel to balance them.
