Here it is...just what we predicted...with the all new water cooled engine!
Yep and it is not only water cooled, due to the surging gas prices it will have an DIESEL engine too !!!! :orange: :mango: :bananarock: :apple: :carrot: :jalapeno: :cucumber: :pineapple: :pepper:

Does anyone know when the California EPA specs are published ???? Usually that is our first knowledge of what the cvo's will be.

Last year it was June timeframe.  Check here often

heard it from my pool guy ... he's very knowledgeable on pools so I trust his CVO expertise as well (lol) ... soooo ... he says 2014 touring models to be water cooled ... no 14' CVO Street Glide again ... CVO lineup will be CVO Ultra , CVO Road King , CVO Breakout will be back and a new CVO  softail model ... possibly a CVO Deluxe version ...

My inside source tells me he’s seen behind the secret door and there are only going to be 2 significant model changes.  A slammed blacked out bagger model called “Spec-Ops”; it will have visuals similar to the Honda F6B, and it will be a water cooled V-Twin.  A new CVO Trike that will also share the “Spec-Ops” water cooled motor.  Everything else will soldier on until MOCO has time to evaluate acceptance of the water cooled theme in 2014.

Don't know about the rest of it but I have heard the same CVO trike rumor.

The only thing I can say with total confidence is that the quality and reliability of Harley's offerings in 2014 will still be very poor, and their customer service will suck as much as or even more than usual.  Considering those two items, I really don't care what else they may offer for 2014, I won't be buying it.  I'd rather spend my money on something worthwhile, like a colonoscopy.

I have to say that all blacked out goldwing pic a page or two earlier looks damn good to me. I understand the only option is an oriental massage.

My Ouija board says 2014 will bring us a CVO 883 in hot pink that comes w a lipstick holder and the radiator doubles as a bidet.

Water-Cooled Heads on the Tour-Glide,, Road-Glide, only, for 2014.  Too many of you RUBS complaining about your thighs gettin' too hot!  Did HD actually listen to the RUBS?  :nixweiss: Same 45 degree V-Twin.  You'll have to have a trained eye to see the difference.  Coolant in Lowers.  Can't take 'em off on that Model.  >:(  Later--HUBBARD

That is very interesting. We place our phase one orders on April 23rd and Road Glide and Road King Classic are dropped from the 2014 FL line up. I know, I know but it's true. Take that to the bank

The 2014 colors of the non cvo's are kinda cool too. I like Daytona Blue Pearl :2vrolijk_21:

Discontinuation Details for Road Glide for 2014MY

Both Road Glide models are being discontinued for the 2014MY to undergo planned design refreshes; during this time, we will also be making needed updates to the manufacturing processes currently being used to produce these models. For example, the fairing tooling for this model is at the end of its usable life, so during the discontinued timeframe we will both update this design and retool manufacturing equipment. Making both design and build changes during this time will enable us to more quickly reintroduce a more innovative and better-than-ever Road Glide for your touring customers. Additional information on the reintroduction of the Road Glide will be shared at the 2013 Annual Dealer Meeting in August.

Discontinuation Details for Road King models

Over the past few years we have been monitoring Road King and Road King Classic sales, and have sought input from dealers regarding whether we needed both of these models in our lineup. Considering recent sales trends, we have decided to discontinue the Road King Classic in North America. In international markets, where the Road King Classic outsells the Road King, we will be discontinuing the Road King.

CLEARLY THIS IS NONE OF MY BUSINESS BUT........

If you value your job with the motor company, I would refrain from making these type of postings. As you know you are bound by a confidentiality agreement and can be fired for releasing confidential information.

I personally don't want to see that happen.  So I am suggesting you take the postings down before somebody from the motor company see them and takes action.

The letter he's citing is already in the wild and has been posted in its original form here on the site several weeks back.  The other info has been public for quite awhile also and also cited with copies of HD correspondence.  So he's likely ok.  Even were the gentlemen inclined to (perhaps prudently) remove his post or at least edit to remove his personally identifying information it's is harder for him to do once you've quoted it....  ::)
