actually all this info about dropping the Road Glide and with a possible return in the next model year has been out for quite a while....there's even a HD document floating around dated january, 2013 stating the reasons for doing so.

It also explains why the RK with hard bags will only be available in domestic US market and the RK Classic will be exclusively sold in international markets...

as for the color charts...has anyone actually seen them?

Not like you cant make the key change on either bike just by switching bags.... if youre looking for color matched hard bags look for another touring bike (usually an ultra) in the same color scheme. order them complete (they arent cheap)

but you'll convert a "classic" into a standard for minimal headaches.... now, if you want the fender lights too (and the different plate light/mount... thats a different animal all together.

Pushing down the 110 on other models will tell us if the moco has a change for 2015.  So if anyone has the itch to get the not so greatest
and newest of the new 2015 well ...................

But it is still ... if I read it on the internet  :huepfenlol2:

My dealer is pumping me up for something new and exciting for the '14 line-up, he's talking major change???

Anybody have any ideas?

I've also heard that the price will take a big jump.

The one rumor that I've heard is that for 2014, there will be a choice on the standard Ultra models only; air-cooled or water-cooled with the radiators in the lowers.  Of course, reliability via the rumor mill is always questionable, but it seems like most of this thread is the rumor mill at it's finest. :coolblue:

I finally gave in and went to the source.  Called the pool boy.  He's always been right on before and so willing to help.  I seem to remember him being dead last year.  But he must have gotten better.  Anyway.... when I asked him what was happening for 2014 he told me to go &^(* myself.  Pretty sure he didn't mean it in a good way either.

Recovering from being dead must have made him grumpy.....  :nixweiss:

Because most of the parts on the CVO's are from China.

I heard that instead of the Gold Keys, or Gold coins, they

are going to be given away Smithfield meats products

with the 2014 CVO Models!!

We all know that there will be no Road Glides in 2014, but I also heard that in the "regular" lineup, there will be NO Classics or Ultras from now on... This would leave ONLY Limiteds in the Electra Glide family.

That's what I heard anyway.  :nixweiss:
