Are we all losing it or is the MOCO playing tricks with our heads?  I was just looking at Harley's website, at the new CVO Limited, and the main photo of the bike has HIGHWAY PEGS on it.  After all the discussion about this, was this there the entire time?  http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US/Motorcycles/cvo-limited.html#

The main photo often has extra stuff on it... to whet our appetites...

The main photo of my bike had some yellow on the lowers that didn't make it to production...

Just not as obvious when folded up.  Unless I'm not looking at it correctly, I would think that actually using those highway pegs would be great for warming your feet in cold weather, but probably not real great when riding in 95 plus weather.  It appears the radiator vents will blow right at your ankles. :nixweiss:

Depends where you mount them. I have mine mounted down low, as I like to ride with my toe on the peg and my heel on the footboard. Mounted the way I have mine, your feet would be well below the radiator vents.

When I test rode the Limited I also was concerned about that, but after sitting on the bike I don't believe it will be an issue... Heat rises and your feet and legs should comfortably rest just a tad below the openings.  At least it appeared that way from where I was sitting.  The bike I rode did not have pegs installed, but I just imagined where they would be and where my feet would be positioned.

Possibly one of the new CVO Limited owners can confirm this.

man, that heat would have to rise extremely fast when you are cruising down the highway and the vents are only inches from you ankles??  I am thinking that the wind will blow that heat straight back onto your ankles, and any passengers legs at 80 MPH. Could be wrong, but that is my thought on the matter.

Although it was only in the mid 70's when I had my demo ride, I couldn't feel much heat coming out of the vents, so I really don't see it being a big concern at all.  But the riders in the deep south may have it different.

This is what I am waiting to hear more on. I like what I am hearing on most other things. Jury seems to still be out on the radio and liquid cooling system. Not only heat issue but others as well.

I have a 2014 Ultra Limited and plan on adding highway pegs. There is plenty of room. I plan on buying the Harley Davidson Extended Adjustable peg mounts.

Thank you gentlemen, I love the blue as well. My dealer did a dealer trade to get the bike. He went over 60 miles to get the blue one for me.

The two you have pictured are CVO's.. the one below (and in Scott's post) are regular production Ultra Limiteds...
