just saw on another site, & wanted to pass it on. Looks like there will be a CVO Roadglide ULTRA, CVO Streetglide2 & CVO Ultraclassic5. Looks like they will also be making the touring models in the standard 96" & 103" limited models. Roadglides in 96" & 103" customs, Roadglide Ultras in 96" & 103". Just saw on the Cailf. E.P.A. air resourses board.
Sorry I couldn't cut & paste it. I'm sure someone else on the fourm can.
HOPE IT'S TRUE, & the MOCO doesn't pull any of them off at the last minute! :bananarock:

I think the attachment below (see top of second page) is the document you are referring to. However don't (at least I wouldn't) be putting a deposit down on a CVO Ultra Road Glide just yet.... there have been past years when these documents have showed up and the bikes on them haven't. :nixweiss:

I'd never bet when it comes to things the MoCo does. Just seems odd they would have three CVO Touring bikes. :confused5:

It's what sells - with the most margin - and the Ultra model adds extra margin.... It's $$$$$.... And I bet it's what the market wants. I'd take the bet!

The SEUC I'd agree with you on... but in '09 there were a lot of SERG's that sat on the floors for long periods of time. Granted it may have been because they weren't "Ultra'd"... time will have to tell if a "Ultra" SERG sells better. I'm still reluctant to take the bet.... but I've been called and known to be extremely conservative (Chip calls it "being a tightwad" :D :D). :nixweiss:

Not necessarily 'd00d. The only CVO bikes that sell fairly briskly, even before the downturn, are the Touring models. The Dyna and Softail models, with the exception of perhaps the SE Fatboy, haven't exactly "screamed" off the showroom floor. So I would guess that the MoCo, looking for the most profit they can squeeze out, would prefer to crank out as many $35k - $40k Touring models with the nice fat profit margins as they can. Somehow even when the overall sales are down, and many dealerships look like a ghost town, they manage to sell the CUSE and SESG's.
I remember someone posting not long ago about the CVO production in Kansas City being shut down indefinitely. That would tend to dovetail nicely with this latest rumor.

C.A.R.B. fillings have 5 CVO models for 2011 i'd be dissapointed if they expand from 4 to 5

So I've heard..... ::)
When d00d changes his oil ( you know, every 2 years or 2000 miles) he keeps what was drained out for his lawn mower and his wifes car.
D00d tight? No way!

Well I hope they offer the Orange one, it really is the fastest colour. And it would match my new Hi Vis jacket... I know this is important to the MOCO :D

Is the general consensus that this model will come with lower fairings and a tour pack?
-
I hope it comes with the standard RG lowers and a chopped pack, but my fear is it will have a King pAck, Ultra Style lowers, and rear speaker pods.....

To clarify, I meant opposed to a King Pack and Ultra style lowers. The rest i can live without, although a CB would be nice.
-
Lets see... heated seat... that is nice in Canada
... heated grips... oh yeah got to have that too
..... CD and intercom would be nice
..... King Pack would be nice, although I am happy with my Chop pack

Here is a Picture of the 2011 CVO Road Glide that has been around since 2004, without Tour Pak and lowers, Ha, Ha,
