Says no to FLHTCUSE4 but that is the one I installed on my FLHTCUSE4. 75320-05A.  Maybe HD made a change?

I like this... but the description says no go for the FLHXSE.... :nervous:

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524448767826&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374309164195&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374309164195&bmUID=1276691137315&bmLocale=en_US

The gauge will physically fit, and it will indicate oil temperature if installed properly.  The reason they exclude '09 and later CVO's is that the backlighting on the regular gauges changed in '09, and the gauge you referenced still has the old style backlighting.  So, to make a long story short, it doesn't match exactly with the rest of the gauges.

Try a search on this site for "oil temperature gauge", I'm pretty sure there are a few other threads that discuss this.

Very true. Jerry.  It does work, but the backlight is different.  Wish HD would just update their .pdf instructions or tell why it should not be used.

You have to be reasonable with the Moco. It only took them eight years to add the .pdf instructions to the accessories. Now you want them to have all the information? Come on ...
