ive never given it any thought to tell you the truth. but one idea i had was that the FXRs where the only CVOs with the EVO motor, all others are Twin-Cam.[smiley=nixweiss.gif] thats assuming that the 2000 FXR4 was also black and chrome......

In my opinion i think the black sets off the chrome much better,,,,just like on the new low rider,,,the black and chrome twin cam is a $1000 bucks more than the silver and chrome,,,,,they must have considered that to keep the cost down on the cvo bikes,,,,,but i think they should have just went with the black and chrome,,,why skimp on a cvo bike!!!!!!!,,,,,think about it,,,i just did.

The EVO and the Twin cam 1450cc charge a grand more for black over silver,,,the Twin cam 95 & 103 charge the same for both.
