If not Metzler tires ......

then which tires are you running on your FXR  ??

I've been running ME880's for about 6 years

I'm in need of new tires and waz considering a change ....

No, I'll NEVER put dunlops back on the bike, they suck on my bike

I waz a little lax in keeping after the air pressure this last time around so my front tire is now scalloped out and needs to be replaced
the rear tire has just short of 11K miles on it, I could squeeze some more out of it but want to replace it now

anyone run Purelli tires ?

Surprised this is the first reply - tires are usually a hot topic!

I've run Avon Venom and Metz 880 (went to Metz rear on last change because my mechanic happened to have one in the shop) and have been very happy with both.  My impression before the change is that they are very similar (performance/wear) and that's what I'd say after a couple thousand miles.
