Help on a CV carb
« on: November 11, 2008, 10:52:35 PM »

I have a 95 softail that I am rebuilding the carb on. My service manual shows to have a somewhat flat float in the carb. Mine doesn't. The float is 2 round disc. So the measurement given in the manual is not achievable with this float. Does anyone have the float level setting for this type of float?

As much as I love carbed bikes.....I'd love to help you out.  Not sure if my TC documentation can help, but I'm willing to give it a try if you are.  Do you have a part number for your carb.

i asume you have the specs for the "round pucks"......my manual list specs for both the flat bottom and round pucks, as they changed in mid-year......let me know if you need them??
