2011 FLSTSE2, heads and pistons untouched, just added T-Man 600 SuperMax cams with adjustables, V&H Propipe, and a Screamin Eagle Super Tuner.

A question. Any reason for using the TR-600?
I see per their website it is meant for: Performance street cam for 88" to 103" motors. Works well at 10.1 to 10.5 compression
The 110 is not shown.

The web page is a bit confusing as I see multiple TR-600SM cams. The second one from the top says for 06 Dyna/07-Present Chain Only-All Models and says the following in the description:
This cam can be used as a bolt in on 07-Present heads with the stock beehive springs because of its shallow TDC lifts and a stock beehive spring that will travel .710. It has a distance between the upper collar and valve seal of .660 with a seat pressure of 140 lb. This 600SM cam will work well for a 103” motor and is a cam that you can build on that will respond very good on bigger displacement motors where the rider is looking for torque at the twist of the throttle.

I called and talked with TR and he suggested the 600 SuperMax as a bolt-in for the CVO 110". He has never steered me wrong.

Love the HP numbers!! My 2011 110" street glide (stock) with V & H Dresser Duals and V & H Hi-Output slipons dynoed at 108 TQ but only 89 HP. That cam really improved the HP numbers. Plus your TQ curve was much broader.
I'm betting that motor has a little more GiteeUp now.

IMO a real nice cam choice for the lighter weight CVO convertible.
For heavier bagger I would opt for a cam that would move the torque curve to the left on the dyno chart.

it is tough to move the torque up to the left without going in and upping the compression.

Not needed it is high stock
Stock cam gets the low end left dyno chart honors until about 2,500 then it's a new ballgame.

Doc's Performace Tuning, Mineola Fla, Thayers Sales & Service, Corfu, N.Y., and Joe's Cycle Repair, Mechanicville, N.Y., ALL tuned 3 seperate little 98"/Andrews 37/Stage II Head combos of ours, this past spring, to 106-108 hp, and 108-111 ft/lbs.
I believe that there is more lurking in the 110". :)

Definetly more in the 110"er but the OP has NO head or piston work, I think his results, for what is done is fantastic, nice plug tho.......... :nixweiss:

There is always more there its the tuner that fell short.

But the OP's OE head flows about 158 cfm @ 10", he is 12.3 cubic inches larger, has a larger t/body, with a much larger lift cam.................me thinks there is some left on the plate.

what gear was the run done in .
6 th gear on a stage 1 CVO ,with just about any exhaust will net around 95/115
so if it is a 6 th gear run I would think there is more tq there. HP looks decent.
but I suspect it will make 1:1 on hp and break 120 tq pretty easy.

Super Tuner doesnt stop you from running a dyno in 6th gear, not sure what your trying to say here.

you could have ran it in 6 th it would have just quit at 5800 rpm on the graph. you were done at that rpm in 5 th anyway so you would be done there in 6 th also. the numbers would have just been higher on paper in 6 th. but that dont mean anything,as long as it runs good everywhere else. probably would have went 110-112 hp 118-120 tq. in 6 th. :2vrolijk_21: JMO

My stock cam 110 does just as well on the torque curve up to 3500 rpm....I'm unimpressed. I only have Stage I intake, true duals, and a race tuner all dynoed.
Now why do I need a different cam?? I don't run above 3000 99% of the time.

Not to make fellow 110 owners wince, but here is Kaw V2K dyno - my Kaw is a 125 cube stock motor running a PCIII and Roadhouse slip-ons, nothing else.

OH and BTW, that 125 cube motor gets 50 mpg....if I could, I'd pull my 110 out and insert the Kaw motor. (Note too the torque and hp scales are offset).

I see the dyno was set on STD thats going to make your numbers look even better. It it was on SAE you number would be down 2 to 3 HP & TQ.

I'm glad the numbers are high because that will be offset by the low numbers when it's time to trade.

Why? Just ride the Kawasaki. It sounds like you are proud of it or maybe not. I am so confused you want a Harley with a Kawasaki motor so you don't have to ride the Kawasaki?

You forgot to mention the low numbers at the time of purchase and the low numbers for maintenance. :D
Since I own both CVO and a "Jap" bike, I can comment both ways. I wince too when I look at some (emphasize 'some') of the things the Japs do that 100+ years of HD haven't realized yet. But, I luv my CVO and any long trip will be on it AND I'll buy another one if they ever come out with another paint scheme I like.

Ideally H-D should offer new rolling chassis setup for big inch Evo or <'06 TC platforms !
Until they do, I don't envision myself buying a new one. :soapbox:

OOH...big inch EVO...I LIKE that idea! I have a '96 Heritage ST and I really like the motor but it's only 80" so not good for 2-up touring duty....but a 100+ EVO would be nice! My 96 is soo much quieter a motor than my 110 CVO.
