Jerry

That looks great!
Now I know I need to change the speaker grills to the cloth ones.
And tell us more about the "hybrid" speakers.
Good job buddy!

I'm anxious to see how mine looks without painting it, but from seeing those pics, I have a feeling that I'll end up having mine painted sometime down the road.  Those were a great idea and they really look like they were supposed to come on the bike that way.

Some pics taken outdoors in the sunlight Hogtunes pod and their new hybrid speakers make a "huge" difference. Clearer sound at any speed!!

Did you add the front/rear speakers (Hybrid) along with the Pod? If so did you use your factory Amp? I have like 4 amps and 2 crossovers in my fairing with the sound system I have and my fairing feels very heavy at low speeds.

Thanks!

Are they louder also, or just clearer.  The stock speakers were pretty loud to start with.  I'll have my 6 speakers plus the tweeter pod ready to listen to by tomorrow night.  My Hog Pod just arrived today.  I'm anxious to see how much difference there really is.

Hog Tunes complete.  It sounds good.   I haven't ridden it at highway speed yet to see if there is a difference there.  I probably won't get that chance until around Thursday and I won't have a chance to report the results until about May 20th.  There's definitely more bass out of this system and the pod definitely throws the music right in your face, but I wasn't all that dissatisfied with the stock system.  I guess it's all relative.  If it clears things up at highway speeds, then I'll have to say at that point that I feel it was worth the extra money.  Until I give it all the tests, I can't really cast my vote for the sound, but it sure does look nice.

Another closer view of the Hog Pod.  I think it looks fine without painting it.

Just keep telling yourself that maybe you'll end up believing it... you know you want to (and will end up) get(ting) it painted. :D :D

Dave

Your going on a trip and your starter is acting up, your hog pod isn't painted, you don't have a chrome cover on your neutral light, I can't see a Zumo.
Geeeeezzzzzzz buddy, you slacking off on us?

I like it that way.  It's a perfect match for the face of the stereo.  I think it would stand out and look better without the windshield bag, but I'm not giving that up.  Because of the windshield bag though, you may be right though.  It may look a bit better painted just because of the windshield bag.  Either way, if I do it, it won't be until the winter months.  It's time to ride now.
