Production numbers blue v. orange?
« on: May 11, 2004, 02:44:35 PM »

Hello all.  This is my first post to the board.  I'm still blinded by all that orange paint.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  Can anyone tell me what the total production is anticipated to be... and the ratio blue to orange???  Is it 50-50?  Thanks in advance.  Dave

I believe that the number I was told was 2750 or so...50/50.

I'm not sure what the total number will be, but there is a thread here, somewhere that has that information.  It was supposed to be 50/50 but that's changed.

The "unofficial" response that I got from HD was that the reason that the orange and black was taking so long is because those that had O&B ordered originally, many had changed to B&B.  Mine was one of those.  Although their belief is that the reason for the switch was because they thought that we thought we'd get them quicker.  I changed my color, after going to Milwaukee and seeing the B&B in person.

My guess (and it's just that.....a guess) is that in the end, it will be about 2/3 B&B and 1/3 O&B.

I have a B&B 2004 SEEG.  I was looking @ Ebay today and saw a O&B for sale.  In the ad it said to buy his O&B as the B&B were a "dime a dozen,"  damn near hurt my feelings, but I got over it in about one or two (nanno) seconds.  I guess beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.

Definately fastest!!! It has to do with the pearls and the jets they use to mix the paint, makes it more aero-dynamic!!! [smiley=6.gif]

JCz Now this is pure speculation mind you, and mostly based on the fact that I am the youngest of 3 boys I would say they saved the best for last...  [smiley=bigok.gif]

So in that case, the FLHTCSE2s should be better then, right?  Darn it all.
