I have a $500 Deposit down on a Limited CVO that is to ship on 10-16 . Test drove one Friday at Demo Days and the bike was awesome. But when I read here and at the HD site (Limited Ultra) there seems to be no sense of urgency by the MoCo to get these bikes fixed correctly -it seems more like there approach is... try this and if that don't work try this and on and on. I called customer service and all they would acknowledge is there could be an issue...
That's effin BS... there is an issue..I really feel for the guys going threw this as I have watched very close
I am not sure what to do at this point ........

give me a week and I will advise you to what they have done with my bike - this will give me time to test drive and make sure she is performing well -

just my opinion, but I think that the issue has been addressed by MOCO. I also think that there were more than one issue which is leading to some folks not getting a fix quickly. what has added to everyones frustrating is that since they are new models, the techs themselves did not know how to diagnose and remedy effectively. i would also add that in the scheme of things it is not large numbers of bikes with issues. I am not diminishing the issue at all and feel alot of empathy for folks impacted, but it would not stop me from getting a '14.

I had mine for a week now, no issues at all and I love riding it. I do expect some issues but they will be fixed over the winter.
Early implementers always have to expect some adjustments, the late followers will not

My 2014 Limited had a leak, the dealer kept the bike for a week-plus and returned fixed. I have traveled a little over 700 miles since without a issue. Best new Harley I have ever owned. Love the bike!

Put 200 miles on mine today, no issues, well besides the 39 degree temperature :2vrolijk_21:

My bike did not ship on 10-16 .....no surprise The dealer has no new ship date yet from Moco
It great to hear ...once fixed they are good to go!!! :orange:

They never had to fix anything on mine, worked out of the box. Well sooner or later I will take it in for the clutch recall but I am in no hurry.

don't listen to the cry babies on this site. iv had dozens of motorcycles including several CVO's and this is by far the best Harley I've ever owned.
I just put 1500 miles riding it in the Rockies and it was flawless!
