Been messing with child #2 since I brought it home last Thursday. Have had the fairing off twice to fix minor things. I forgot how much fun putting this fairing back on but after cleaning up some wiring and getting it out of the way, I'm back down to 3-4 tries to get it hung on the hooks. I did get a chance to ride it to work last Saturday and then get a few miles on it with my brother after work. Title work is done but no plates yet. Sheriff said it's okay as long as I have my title receipt with me. BMV doesn't open back up until the 26th so I made my own plate.  Still needs some TLC but it'll be in top shape as time allows.

Beautiful bike!  Love that blue!  Congrats!

Yup  :2vrolijk_21: Been wanting one of these for 8 years since I first saw one. Right place at the right time sort of thing. I'll use this one for mostly solo riding. Work, day trips with the guys and stuff. Keeping the Ultra for two up and touring.

Came up to the Smokies for a week of riding, weather was nice Sunday and most of yesterday but had to ride back to Pigeon Forge from Deals Gap in the rain and the rest of the week looks like a total washout. Ninth year of doing this trip and have always hit a little rain here and there but I have always expected that we were eventually going to have a week like this.

So far 2020 has been a horrible year (pandemic, losing loved ones, lost income, home repairs, and now this), trying to count my blessings and stay positive but I need a break from all the hits.  Praying for better days ahead.

I feel your pain on the weather.  Looks like we will get a wet ride to Eureka Springs AR, a wet three days there and a wet ride home.  Hopefully you will get some breaks in the weather so you can get out and ride.

Your 2020 sounds just like mine, I have had to deal with everything you have listed.  I'm staying positive as I still do have lots to be thankful for, hopefully you do to.

Mike, beautiful new to you 12 SERG.  Looks very nice.

Well yesterday I updated the software for the boom on my 19 CVO RG.  After 7 months Harley finally fixed it so my iPhone 11 Pro can make and receive phone calls.   Very happy about this.  They also added more apps and stuff still need to check it all out.

I also installed the fan assisted oil cooler.  Not a bad job at all, hardest part was reinstalling the Fang.  I did not use the supplied new oil hoses as the old ones are perfectly good and the same hoses.  I would have had to remove exhaust to replace one of the lines, not worth it.

Thank you Dave, today looks a little better so we’re going to try to log some miles.  I know you’re dealing with something that is much more serious than all my gripes combined and I’m praying for you.  I don’t know if you’re home this week but each time we pass a group I try to see if that Red Pepper is in the pack. Anyway, I hope the weather cooperates for your trip. Be safe.

Thanks SIKBIRD,

You won't see my bike in the area until Monday evening now.

In the process of packing the bike.  At 7:30 am we will be heading west to Eureka Springs AR.  Will be riding with a few Motor Maids, including my wife.  Should be interesting as its their ride, I'm just riding with them.  If weather will cooperate North West AR is a great area to ride, which is why I decided to go with my wife.

Been raining all week!  Wax on wax off.....When it does clear up (maybe Saturday) I'll head out.  Trouble is now it is so freaking clean and shinny, I really want to keep it looking great for a little while.  I usually wipe it down after a couple rides, to make detailing easier, but it hasn't looked this good for awhile
