Been messing with child #2 since I brought it home last Thursday. Have had the fairing off twice to fix minor things. I forgot how much fun putting this fairing back on but after cleaning up some wiring and getting it out of the way, I'm back down to 3-4 tries to get it hung on the hooks. I did get a chance to ride it to work last Saturday and then get a few miles on it with my brother after work. Title work is done but no plates yet. Sheriff said it's okay as long as I have my title receipt with me. BMV doesn't open back up until the 26th so I made my own plate.  Still needs some TLC but it'll be in top shape as time allows.

Downloaded Android Auto, added a new Klock Werks windshield and moved the XM antenna outside the fairing. Then headed out for about a 250 mile ride.

1-Android Auto worked perfectly paired with my Samsung S9. I was able to start the app with google maps, listen to XM through the HD module and google maps would lower that radio volume to give me directions.
2-New windshield is the correct height and really made a difference in the comfort level of my ride.
3-Moving the XM antenna I did not lose service over the 250 mile ride including many back roads.

Spent the last three days riding the Red Pepper.  Every day had a 50% chance of rain or higher.  Got a few light Sprinkles Thursday, no need for rain gear and did not get wet.  Friday light rain first two hours, then a gully washer for 30 minutes, then the rest was a great day.  Saturday was a perfect day riding around Eureka Springs area and Pig Trail, then yesterday a nice ride home.  1530 miles.  Needs a wash and new front tire now.

glad that Red Pepper is giving you nothing but smiles!  Got the tracking number for my cylinder heads from Don this morning, so final assembly is just around the corner!  We've had tons of rain here in NC, and this week there's a 60% or higher chance of rain until Sunday.  Ugh!

They predicted 50% or more chance of rain daily for our Eureka Springs trip, got one down pour most was good weather.  Rain all week here too.  Today is like 50%.

Will be riding Red pepper to DR office this am, when done there over to SMHD.  Need to have the front tire replaced prior to this week ends ride.  This tire got the lowest front tire milage ever, only 10K miles.  Sitting on seat the left side has lot or tread, but the right side is on wear bars.  Pressure is always monitored and kept correct.

Picture on Pig trail, my bike, then wife's bike then Nephews bike.  Had a good time with them over the week end.

It was a good CVO morning to do something.  Rain yesterday, rain later today, rain the next day, rain on the overmorrow, rain seemingly forever.  This morning no rain though.  Cool, mostly broken clouds.

About 6:30 left on the Road King.  Had to break in its new oil and filter change that gone done a couple nights ago.  Oh yeah, also had to finish breaking in the new SAC grips put on it the same night.  Bike was happy this morning.  We did well and killed a tank of fuel.

About 8:45 left again on the Road Glide.  Stretching it out harder the first time since the new engine work.  Sounded and felt really good.  Bike was happy this morning.  We did well and killed most of a tank of fuel.

About 11:00 left on the FXR.  Just 'cause.  Going from the Road Glide to the FXR is like swapping to underwear that's sewn to fit in an entirely different way.  Fortunately both bikes are dialed in to fit me well.  Going from the re-worked Road Glide engine to the Evo is also interesting.  Fortunately the FXR doesn't weigh much; so it's all good.  Bike was happy this morning.  We did well and killed 2/3rd of a tank of fuel.

Got bike an hour ago.  FXR on the lift now for its spring oil change and any other service I can think of to do to it.  Ooh, I think I'm finally going to get ambitious and take the 20 year oil lines off it to replace with new.  Off to the parts store for some 3/8 line rated for oils.....

Your stable of bikes is nice, it's a tough chore to ride em all in one day.

Or is it?

All in one day is rare Phil.  All in the same morning and actually get a 100 miles on each even more.  No matter what the cycle they always get their turn though.  If not the one that missed a turn gets pissed off; and that's never good.

Got bike packed and ready to ride over to Little Switzerland, NC this morning.  Going to spend two night and do some riding there with a lot of friends.  Should be fun.

Be safe.  Bring condoms and practice your anti-social distancing.  Have fun.

More work on the '12. CD front turn signals and CD brake flasher module. New style CD TS vs the CD older style on my '15. Quite a bit of difference. Also changed the kickstand to an eBay one that the foot Tang wasn't almost flattened. Picked up some new chrome and black washers for the 4 point docking station on the back. Cleaned up those screws with some PB blaster and steel wool. They cleaned up well and look a lot better than the rusty ones that were on there.

Rode the across Smoky Mountain National Park, then the Parkway up to Little Switzerland NC on Friday.  Saturday rode the Rattler and the Devils Whip and some other good twisty NC roads.  Sunday we took good twisty roads back to TN and Barbarossa Saloon along the river then home.  635 miles of curves over three days, 44 bikes.  A good time.

Today I'll ride the King to the DR, and then on some local Errands.
