Fires in the OC
« on: March 12, 2007, 10:36:48 AM »

I realize these are in the foothills but they sure look devastating.  Hope everyone is ok there.

Any members live out there?  Check out the fires in Anaheim, CA area.

As far as I know Rog, we've got members all around the OC, but none that live in it. Hot and dry here today. Hope some idiot doesn't set off one down this way. It's been in the low 90's the past three days and dry as dust.

It is a never ending problem now that all of the area down there is so built up.  Seems like somebody is always doing something stupid that starts one let alone the accidents that happen.

I live about 5 miles from it. The hills burn every year. They normally burn later in the year, Oct & Nov after the summer months, but this year, we have had minall amounts of rain (2"). The hills are dry. It looks worse on TV, but then thats easy for me to say............ I wasn't evacuated......... :confused5:
