Head sets 2014 CVO Limited
« on: February 17, 2014, 12:05:54 PM »

Any suggestions before I take the bike to the dealer. New bike, on the rider head set I can hear audio (any source) I can hear passenger talk, I can hear CB, but when I talk to passenger I can hear myself but the passenger cannot hear me. When I talk the audio fads out and the icon on the radio shows that intercom is on but passenger cannot hear me. I have switched all JM audio cables from front to back and still the same thing, I have taken the JM headsets off and put HD headsets on both helmets and same thing.

I have concluded that the plug on the console is bad. Any other thoughts before I take it to the dealer that I can try?

Thanks!

Are you sure the passenger volume level is turned up to an appropriate level?  Not sure how to see that on the new style radio, but the volume control on the passenger backrest must be turned up and you could see at what level on the older HK radio, so I am assuming there is a similar display on the new whiz-dizz radio as well.

That is a great point and I thought of that and I have had the dealer looking into but with no word back yet.
