Well, kind of a long story, but we have had a number of cycle related deaths in our area.  The little woman says, no more riding for her.  For the first year in a long time I am wearing a helmet again.  I don't like riding scared.  Take it for what it is worth, but I am a health care professional and work day in and day out with brain-damaged individuals, some from cycle accidents.  Gets one to think.  I have ridden for 35 years without an accident, some mightly close calls, but always kept the shiney side up.  Do I want to sell my 05, not really, but then again if I could get my money out of it, I would most likely do so and move on to another aspect of motor sports.  Let the flaming begin.  Spook.

I would most likely have the same withdrawal, but would try to compensate with a new Corvette.  If I were a betting man however, I would suspect that I will be putting miles on my SEEG for awhile yet.  Spook.

Thank you for that.  I would suspect that part of it is Mn. winter is around the corner, but come spring, I KNOW I will be waiting to hear that V-twin music in ears.  Sometimes the responsible thing to do is not necessarily the corrent decision.  Besides, maybe now I can put on the Solo seat I wanted.  Thanks for your thoughts. Spook.
