I asked this question of a "tech" person who has contributed quite a bit at a website called Harley Tech Talk his name is John S. Rosamond back in August of this year, He is a person that really know's his "EVO" engines for the most part....I too was after trying to figure out the differences between the "last" generation of evo engines at the time that would have been specifically installed on the final production years of a 1994 FXR and then given 5 additional years of refinements what would have been the changes for the 1999 CVO FXR's so here is a link to that thread on Harley Tech Talk, simply click, view, and read the link below for some further input on this matter:
