Don’t have an answer for you mark but would think that HD would sell an accessory kit for a Dyna. We (Jim) added an HD unit to the ‘07 Street Glide. Worked flawlessly.

Roger,

I did a little digging and the only Dyna that came with Cruise is the Dyna S. Also came with ABS. Jim has a wrecked one at his shop and I checked it out.

Roger,

I’m thinking back up. At first I was going to get the new GoldWing, then it occurred that maybe another 900 pound bike is not the direction I should go. I always liked the old FXRT with cop fairing and large clamshell bags, so why not a Dyna? I can easily add add the FXRT bodywork. And if I’m going Dyna I might as well get one with Cruise and ABS.

Do you know if the ST came with Cruise? How about the Kawasaki Concours Zx14?

I assume the Dyna is ‘09-up with CC and ABS? Older parts may not transfer to the new frame etc.
The ST1300 and Concours do not have CC. Some ST’s have ABS (both of mine do) not sure if all the Concours do. The Concours will be lighter, faster, more modern and have higher insurance than the ST but won’t handle as well in a cone course. Both are a pain to work on. As the ST’s like twisty roads better than the HD, the only time I kind of miss CC is when slabbing it 3600 miles to Texas and back in four days. Otherwise I have various throttle locks that suffice just fine. You’re welcome to try out one of my ST’s some time. BTW, if you’re not working Saturday I’m helping John teach a cone class where you and I competed a couple of years ago.

Options other than from the factory:

Looks ugly but at least there are options.

I know a lot of folks that use those on my Honda and Suzuki sites. They’ve gotten much better now that they’ve gone to electric servos, but are not plug and play a require some splicing into the ecm and other circuits.
