This post was made several years ago by another member about the paint code on the 2009 orange....

2009 Paint code info for the Orange Roadglide :

Here is the Dupont Chroma Premier formula for Electric Orange. If you take this to any Dupont Automotive Paint store they will be able to mix for you. I work for Dupont and have access to alot of Harley colors. Hope this helps anyone looking for this particular color. If anyone needs an another color, i will try to help you. Remember, this is a tri-coat color ( orange base with pearl mid coat. This is a pint formula. If you have any questions let me know. This formula was just released 12/18/09.

You might contact Gunslinger directly and see if they will paint them for you. Chances are they painted the bike for the MoCo... Gunslinger painted some parts for my '09, all match perfectly. Competitive pricing.

Xtreme  Dimension (here) would be another to try.

CSgohn I also have the 09 CVO orange and black. The color is an absolute nightmare to paint. I have had 2 of the best painters around try to match and both after many hours and attempts just gave up. The biggest issue is getting the tinted clear. It has green glass in it and is very expensive to buy. it will cost more to buy the clear tint than the labor to paint. My suggestion would be to contact Joe (i think) at extreme in the vendors section. His work looks great and price looks good. I wouldn't wish what I went through on anybody!

I did some paint work on my Electric Orange 09 SERG. Mixed all the colors EXACTLY to formula and match was exceptional. Did a test coupon first from base to finish and it was perfect. Guy who sprayed it is good with the gun but while mixing it we were Very careful. No problems.

There is a guy in Oneonta Alabama named Tom Henderson that is a Harley Davidson approved painter.  He has all the codes and does most of the custom work for local dealers as well as repair work.

Tom does the paint work for the Barber Museum as well

It is electric orange on 2009 CVO RG. Not orange glow. Lids above may be correct color, but if they are it is Electric Orange.
