Title: PYO 10 MONKEY BARS FLTRSE3

HD dealer wants $380 for the bars.
12HRS labour $75 HR=$900
$1320 us   out the door.
Labour sounds kind a steep .
just wondering what you guys are paying. :nixweiss:

I  went with wild one bars and my labor was in the 350.00 dollar range  but i was quoted  900 to 1000 from a dealer also...

That's no "deal" nor is it unreasonable for a dealer.  With a friend's help, it took me 8 hours to change my bars.   16 total man hours.  Disassembly and reassembly of the molex connectors was a pain!   See here:  New '15 RG? Ch. 2: Painted Low Profile Dash.  (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=97895.0)  $75 / hour is reasonable.  $95 in Los Angeles.   My bars were $350 but we're one off customs of my design.

I don't think skippy is talking about a Road Glide.

My dealer wanted 8 hours labor at $85.00 per hour.  He said they normally finish in 4 but still charge 8. If I do it I will do my own.

thanks guys.i got a hd dealer too do it for $836 us     . bars and  labour.

My independent shop in Wichita, KS charged me a flat $200 to install Wild 1 Chubby 12" apes.
