Any recommends on riding boot, looking for something lite and cool for the hot days

You may want to consider an insulated boot even in the summer, since your foot is basically right beside a furnace, not to mention the heat off the asphalt.

Check out the Ridge Boot Line. They have numerous models, personally I like the 9000. Has all the buttons and whistles and can be bought on line for around $120.00. Good walking boot, has Nike type air pocket in heel and keeps feet dry with side entry zip that has liner behind the opening. IMO a good boot, They are usually available at Daytona from the Manuf on Beach Street during Biketoberfest.

Cruiserworks. found better half size larger than you normally wear. The Swat boots are great as well if you have skinny lower legs. I am short which makes my calves lower and I can only wear the short version of the Swat boots so the Cruiserworks are better for me. They are a bit on the spendy side versus the Swat boots. I'm sure others will chime in as well. Good luck on your choice.

I know this is crazy but I researched on line best hot weather boots and BMW Airflow boots got amazing reviews so I went and got them and they are great! The venting is the best I have ever felt in any boots and they have strong protection built in. I pulled up in my garage and put foot down in water and started to drop my bike so I tried to put my foot down quickly which didn't work out so well. Bike came dome on my ankle and pinned my foot underneath (which protected my bike fortunately..). the built in protection in the boot protected my ankle which if I wasn't wearing those boots,.

Mine need to be waterproof. Bates and HD FXRG are my go to pairs. Bates first due to comfort and they are light.

I know Bates boots are not the popular choice but I've had my Bates Goretex for about 4 years and never a wet foot or sore when riding long days. Plus they are easy to pick up at Bass Pro.

X2 on the Ridge 9000. They are waterproof & lightweight and are sturdy enough & hold up very well.

Was size are you? I have a Milwaukee boot I believe is a size 10 that I used once and has been sitting in my closet. Great for summer and into late fall weather. Good looking boot also.

I'm in the Bates camp also. For the last couple of years, I been riding in Bates Goretex also. For me they are comfortable, light weight and waterproof. The Goretex makes them breathable, which is a plus for me in the hot weather.

I've been in the same camp for quite awhile. Both the mentioned boots have not only been waterproof, but have lasted 5-7 years and upwards of 100, 000 miles each

I wear police tactical boots, mostly choose Bates as well.
Made the mistake of ordering one of Bates new riding boots. The running shoe style Marauder, which is supposed to be waterproof.
They are comfortable, but definitely not waterproof in the least. Wore them on an 18 day bike trip in July, and thankfully only got rained on once. They got so wet I had to put them in the dryer at the hotel, and even then they were damp and smelly for days.
I called Bates, and they offered me another pair of my choice, so I went for the more expensive Beltline, which is also one of their motorcycle specific models. I haven't gotten it yet, but hopefully they will be waterproof.
