A mate of mine here in Perth WA has just had Frasers fit Softail Custom type forward controls to his 2007/8 Fatboy !

He did not ask me first ( I would have talked him out of it !) and this cost him a small fortune !

Controls/ pegs/gear shifter rod , rear brake hydraulic hose etc etc, quite a few "parts" involved

By the same token , Fatboy/Heritage boards should fit your CVO Springer you would have thought !

bought some Softail Slim boards.
bought the controls also, as my controls won't fit.
post pics when fitted.

Did you buy all the parts "new bike take-off" ?

Sounds expensive otherwise !

fitted the boards.
gear shift control fits no worries.
but the my brake control won't fit. the offset needs to be brought in about 30mm to clear the board.
i'll give them a good tryout in 2 weeks for Edenhope weekend ( about 550 km's, one way )

Looks good Cossack, is it possible to throw the brake lever in the vice and bend it that 30mm?

i'd need to do it under a press at work.
prefer not to alter the original lever.
fabricate one at work and fit the original brake pedal to the lever.

PS boards are comfy, but fck they scrap around town, will be really bad in the hills.

Bonus you've got the gear to make one at work.
Easy change over then, when/if you go back to the pegs.
