Title: Great Time Of Year To Ride In Florida
Post by: RedWings11 on October 06, 2016, 08:49:37 PM: Aside from the possible hurricane of the century, this is the time of year I look forward to here in Florida. The heat breaks and the humidity is less than oppressive. Plus, Biketoberfest in Daytona and the Fall Thunder Beach Rally right here in Panama City. How about you?

I rented a bike at six bends a few weeks ago, right after the hurricane it was very nice then too.

Hoping for the weather gods to smile on us for the 2 1/2 day ride down, going to spend a week there enjoying blue waters, cool nights and lots of rum...then 2 1/2 days of riding back.

My wife and I do the ride from TN in the Spring every other year. I see you retired from the Navy the same year I did.
