Title: 2017 CVO Limited Transmission
Post by: aglocker on September 06, 2017, 11:23:20 AM
During a ride yesterday I noticed that it took multiple attempts to down shift when coming to a stop. It took more than one attempt when going from 4th to 3rd. A few more going from 3rd to 2nd. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it possibly related to the oil migration issue?

Check your oil level if you think you have a migration problem.  If your primary is overfilled and your trans is low, your shifting issue could very easily be due to that problem.

Another thing to check is whether the clutch is fully releasing or not.  A dragging clutch can make downshifts difficult.
