Has anyone found a good reliable h4 9003 LED bulb for the Roadglides? I done a search but seems all the results were pretty old and was hoping someone has had a more recent experience. I know daymakers would probably be the best way to go, but my tightwad a@@ just can't see spending 600 on a set of lights, and was just looking for a LED replacement bulb

I've had good luck with the SUNPIE products. I put their Passing Lamps on my son's Road King that already had a HD Daymaker, for $39. Great fit and finish and color was very very close to the HD. Plug and play.
YOu might give them a try, and Amazon makes returns easy.

Thanks Greg,
Looks as though they make a light assy for the Roadglides also.

Oracle, one of the larger LED companies has about all of the headlamp bulbs in LED plug & play. I put a set in our commuter car and they work great. Bout $130.00 pair, got them from AUTOANTHING.com one weekend when they were having 22% off sale. Guaranteed for life.
Did have to lower adjustment a little due to them being so bright, otherwise took bout 10 minutes to install. I had a 08 RG & the correct ones will work fine, save a dollar as well.

These are as good as it gets if you are trying to use an LED in a reflector housing. The LED chips are arrayed to replicate halogens beam pattern as close as possible. The light output dwarfs a stock bulb.
Don't know if you have room for the heat sink though.
They are not cheap, but damn well worth it.

Headlight Bulb - High & Low Beam - White Xenon - Street Glow

This may be worth a try.
I put the same type in my truck.
Twice as bright as the oe type.
NAPA has them.

Wonder how much room we have for the fan on the Roadglides?

X2. I installed Sunpie in my fathers triglide. He is thrilled. A friend of mine saw them and we put a set in his 2006 ultra and he is happy with them. Headlight and both passing lights for a hundred bucks on Amazon. Come in chrome or black

I agree.....even if they don't last as long as Harley -99C lifters, they are easy and inexpensive to replace.

No I have not done a side by side comparison. I will when I get a chance but that will be sometime since my father had shoulder replacement surgery just yesterday. I will see what I can do.

Thank you but no worries. I am really thinking at $120 compared to $600, I am going to give them a try. Just told Santa to order me a set for Christmas and the other $480 can be used on something else

Let us know how they work out for you. It's hard to believe that the more expensive one is 5X better just because it costs 5X as much.

I have to agree with you there. And even if it was do I really need 5X better in this instance. Talking about cages bright lighting you all the time....lol
