My '15 Road Glide CVO's rear footboards was bad about interfering with my legs at a full stop or trying to back that 950 lbs into a parking space. This also would interfere with footing in general. I found that simply removing the right assembly and transferring to the left side and switching the left footboard assembly to the right. This will give you gobs of room on both side. Hope this helps.

Yep, figured that one out like you it was hurting my legs every time I stopped. She liked it better after they were flipped as well.
This was on my 05, now one of first change in all new bikes.

They articulate in two joints you shouldn’t need to swap sides, they adjust very easily with an Allen key.
I want some of those adjustable passenger foot pegs that they make for every other model.

I had to swap them as well. My wife liked it better too so all is good!

Your incorrect in your assumption of the articulation making it possible to only move the points. You HAVE to swap sides, nothing else will work. The boards can only be "Clocked" so far, and it is in the incorrect direction unless you swap the sides.
