Amen. I sure agree.
Worry about the snowflakes today.

They were the greatest.
According to the BBC, "Adolescence now lasts from 10 to 24" (http://www.bbc.com/news/health-42732442)

They were the greatest generation, however I have to say that the current generation of military is great too.

We can never thank them enough......

By the way, the middle book in the picture below is the one he wrote recalling his history from flight school to the end of WWII. There is a copy in the archives at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery and the library of Congress.

Very cool read, thanks for sharing. I love reading about the old "real" men for old. He turned down a purple heart because he figured they were just scratches and he didn't deserve one.....that is a "real" man.

Thanks for sharing 2k. There is no way to ever repay, and people have forgotten what they gave us. You and I picking back and forth about football, or the ability to jump on our bike and run up and down the road we owe to them. Wife works for the National Cemetery Association, and at least weekly she will come home with tears in her eyes as the storys of our vets are told at their services

Thanks for sharing the greatest men ever.
