Title: "Rumble Collection" Foot Pegs ( need part number)
Post by: motor1 on November 24, 2009, 08:25:55 PM
Trying to find the part number for "Rumble Collection" foot pegs, for highway pegs. I know they are available in separate pieces in the FLTRSE3 parts book. I am trying to buy them as a complete assembly. Any help would be great.

If you are talking about duplicating the passenger foot pegs for highway pegs, you have to buy as parts. Parts guy told me he could get them as left and right replacement assemblies but when I went to order them he backed up, could not do it.

Even though I don't have the part number, I know there is a part number, for a complete peg, ( LONG STORY!). So I am still asking if any of you CVO guys have access to this part number.

As of Monday of this week, the pegs are not available as an assembly. I picked up the parts to convert to foot boards for the passenger, and the parts gal wanted to buy my peg assemblies. Her term for the individual pieces to make the assembly was "stupid expensive".

OK, heres the story; my dealer tracked down a part number for complete pegs ( in September ). Ordered them, and then lost them, ( after they were delivered to store ). For what it is worth I believe him. Anyway, now he is trying to get the part number to reorder, but is having trouble obtaining it, this time.  I have my peg mounts and I am tired of waiting, so I was trying to speed this up with this post.

The parts catalog shows them in pieces:

50351-03  Mount, footpeg support
51453-09  Footpeg Body
51459-09  Footpeg Tread
94409-03  Screw

Supposedly order 2 of each for a set.  I'd be curious as to the price after you find out.

Super!  Keep your fingers crossed!  Your HD Dealer will come through, even though he "lost" them.  Let us know when he "finds" them.  I could use a set too.

Do i need 2x Footpeg Body 51453-09 ( or are they sold in pairs and i have to order just one ? )

50351-03  Mount, footpeg support
51453-09  Footpeg Body
51459-09  Footpeg Tread

Supposedly order 2 of each for a set.  I'd be curious as to the price after you find out.

Pg 93 of the parts catalog says order 2 of each part.  You'll also need the chrome clevis pin kit to attach them, but that is available as a set for around $13.00.  Hope this helps.

Ok , but this is the complete parts list for the passenger including the mounting .
What do i need when i want to use them as highwaypegs with the (Adjustable Highwaypeg Mounting Kit Short Angeled 50830-07A).
The translation specifics confuse me and i do not know which parts are for the footpeg itself and which are for the rear mounting .
Can anybody seperate these numbers for me ( Sorry for being such a dumbas in this theme ) ???

If you order 2 of each below, you will have 2 footpegs and 2 mounting pins to attach to your HWY peg mount.  This list does not include the brackets that mount to the frame.  (Not to add to confusion, the last 3 part numbers are available as a kit/set using p/n 42679-01 chrome footpeg pins which you'd only need one)

50351-03    Mount, footpeg support  $16.84 ea
51453-09    Footpeg Body               $42.67 ea
51459-09    Footpeg Tread              $19.96 ea
94409-03    Screw                         $ 1.14 ea
45041-01A  Clevis Pin                     $ 2.56 ea
50912-72    Spring Washer              $ 2.60 ea
11304        Ring, Retaining              $   .40 ea

Thanks for the info too.....I want to change my passenger pegs to rumble passenger floor boards (don't care about the adjustable feature). Similar to what my 04 SEEG had only with rumble instead of stealth. Then I want to move my rumble pegs up to the crash bars. What all would I need to buy???
       Thanks

Ok, this might be a dumb question but the "Rumble Collection" is what is on the 2009 SERG correct?  I also would like to duplicate the passenger pegs as highway pegs.

I was just told they are one of very few that are not sold in sets and the pegs are two seperate pieces. Today they still go for over $244.00 for the pair and that doesn't include the mount, footpeg support.
