Title: 2012 FLTRUSE2
Post by: Fatboy on February 25, 2011, 08:56:48 PM
Bored and wondering after moving 8" of new snow off the driveway..... if the MOCO will make us a real cool Blacked-out version with a little but stronger motor?  :nixweiss:

I'd bet there will be something close....... :2vrolijk_21:

What color scheme's would peak your interest?

Black and Orange!

They also need to give the ultras the 09 SERG and 10/11 SESG rear end treatment!

I agree, Black and Orange should be a color option on every model.

I would like to see a triple red(09 ultra) or a 2 tone blue(01 rg) and of course
a yellow one!

2LR,

Would that be "Red" Plaid Flames?  :nixweiss: :huepfenlol2:

If history is any indicator they didn't put that blacked out motor package together for 1 bike the 2011 Kryptonite SESG.

My guess is we'll see it again on the 2011 RUSE2 and along with a Screamin Eagle head mixed into the paint scheme.

And if they do 3 paint scheme's they will be: Black Denim/blacked out motor, Blue/chrome motor and White Pearl.

Only about another 12 weeks or so and the final choices will be known.

Great bike continuing to get better each year!  :2vrolijk_21:

If they make a more powerful engine than the 110, it will burst in flames at idle   :confused5: :confused5: :confused5:

FWIW, I was told by the Sales Manager of a local dealer he has a 2012 Road Glide CVO on its way inbound if I was interested.

Of course I was interested but he wouldn't divulge anything more......except its based on the Road Glide Custom this year not the Ultra like in 2011.

Yes, that would be consistent with the CA EPA filing I read the other day.

Not expecting any major surprises for the 12s.

Really surprised they would drop the CVO RG Ultra after only one model year.  It sure seems to have been a big seller.  The RG Custom just does not appeal to my or my riding style - two up and touring.  I need the storage and creature comforts only the ultra version provides.  :2vrolijk_21:

Do you think the Mother Harley decided that the RG Ultra and SEUC were basically too much alike and were hurting the sales of each model?  If so, they solved the problem by releasing a SERG that completes directly with the SESG.   :confused5:  :nixweiss:
