any of you lucky 2012 cvorg custom owners have any major wind or buffeting problems to report. and if so what is the fix for them.

A new windshield.  Windshield shape and size is more critical on a RG than on a Batwing, IMO, because you are sitting much further back from the windshield.  It also depends on what kind of helmet you use, if any.

...soft lowers and a 13" Clearview have been the most significant wind manager for my 09.

Eardrums are aching a little after 2 hour ride this afternoon.   Marginal, but not terrible noise.  Could drown out the wind noise with louder exhaust (will do) and more stereo volume,  hmmm... Going to drive up to Clearview this week (40 minute drive) and see about a 13 inch shield.  Their charts show the 13 measures 11 inches vertical from the top of the speedo.  That's what I believe I need after some measuring.  Was hoping I could stay with the wind splitter (stock), but unlikely.  I'm 5'8", but sit like a 6 footer....apparently.

I got a 09 SERG with a  12" klockswerk, wear a 3/4 helmet and always wear custom molded earplugs-the wind noise is too hard on the eardrums.
BTW got the big stereo and 2" fullsacs and it don't deaden the wind sound

Drove up to Pine, CO today and got a GT13 in dark grey from Clearview.  Got a nice tour of the facility too, thanks Mark!  I installed the shield using the existing Windsplitter hardware.  Raining today but had to test it out.  Working out VERY nicely!  It measures 11 inches vertical from top of speedo.  Glad to get it right the first time thanks to this forum :)  Can actually hear the stock pipes now, and the stereo sound great :mango:  Onto Fullsac...

I like the looks of the stock shield... but even at 5'7" (and shrinking) I need the windshield to be just a tad higher... The new version of the HD Windsplitter is not dark smoke (which I like)... I will check the WindVest during Biketoberfest.

IMHO the 2011 RG Ultra GPS mount looks and works a lot better. Much closer to you and a lot more sleek / smooth than the one shown above.

From their website, looks like the next smaller is the GT Sport, measuring 8 1/4 inches vertical for 2011-2012 model year.  You may want to call them, 1-800-798-6089.

I used to have the handlebar mount... but I prefer the symmetry of the Iron Access mount.
