Title: Fitting a Tall Guy
Post by: lbk454 on September 12, 2014, 04:03:01 PM
I sold my 2012 CVO and was looking at a 2015 CVO Street Glide, RG or Limited.  I'm 6'4" and was assuming I could use the MoCo extended footboard pans, brake lever and shifter to move everything forward as I did on prior CVO.  The new parts catalog shows the extended floorboard pans and break lever as fitting 2013 and older models and there is nothing for the 2014 or 2015 models to extend those.  The extended shifter lever will fit.  Talked to local dealer parts guy and he confirmed what I found.  He also said even if they had the extended floorboard pans I'd lose the CVO foot pan inserts.

I can't be the only tall rider out there.  Does anyone make extensions for the 2014 / 2015 existing rider floorboards and an extended brake and shift lever?  Would like the shifter and break lever to match.  Thanks for any input you can provide.

Since there was no 2014 Road Glide the 2015 is all new. With that said there is now way do I think Harley revamped everything on the bike. I'd bet that the 2014 components from any other touring model would work. Grab the parts from the shelf with the parts or service guy and walk outside and compare......

Looking for an extended reach foot brake lever and toe shifter. Does anyone make a 2" - 3" extended controls?
