Back in the saddle again!!
« on: January 23, 2007, 01:22:54 AM »

[smiley=pineapple.gif] Am definitely loving it. Finally got a clean bill of health from my doctor after my Hog encounter of the pig kind. Nothing like getting a new scooter and not able to ride for 11 weeks after racking up only 28 miles on her. Finally had my second Christmas on the new Seultra this weekend. Put on 330 miles and that is difficult on an island of this size. Like everyone has said these new ones are all corked up. Thank god I have true duals and sert waiting for my 1000 mile. Have done nothing but adding bling and tech stuff with my down time. Shoulder feels great and ribs only cause a lil' discomfort. Unfortunately am not able to share this with my better half for another month as she is in AK with kids. Can't wait to get on some real roads and let her run. Next winter. Ride On everyone. Y salud, Y salud,  [smiley=drink.gif]

Kelly 330 miles on Kauai that is a lot of trips from Hanalei Bay to Waimea Canyon and back...lol how many days did it take to put the 330 on the bike? Hey I would have the true duels, SERT and SE A/C on now and not wait until the 1000 mile service. If you remember my first engine was cooked at the 1000 mile mark. Since the new engine it is a lot cooler running plus a lot smoother.

take care

Aloha Mark,

Yes the improvements will go on as soon as received. Did not pull trigger until a week ago as have been waiting for more threads on exhaust. Decided to go with what has worked the best for me in the past with the sound that I'm after, Bassani's. Will probably be an early 1000 mile service. Have Chrome inner Primary and all Chrome engine hardware waiting also. The A/C already on with my one good arm along with many bling items and stuff to make my "Baby" more comfortable. My therapy has been this site and spending $$ on Smurfette, Ha.

As far as the miles, that would be 3 trips for sushi and one trip to Hanalei with a return through Kokee (which I also love to ride in the evening) and Manaa over the past 6 days. Work has precluded me from day riding except yesterday, Damnit!!! Here's to bug in your teeth.

Glad to hear you're able to get back on the road, that is a bitch.  I got hit once a long time ago and remember well the recoup time and frustrations.

You'll love it when you get those mods done.  Makes a big difference along with the bling factor with your OCD additions.

Hey ima, glad to hear you're back in the saddle again! Remember to use a smaller pig next time, if you want to revive the "Hog" on the handlebar mascot thing! ;D Be well. I'm happy everything's fine now! ;) Hoist! 8)
