Got my new CVO book yesterday from Overstock.com. (Harley-davidson CVO Motorcycles: The Motor Company's Custom Vehicle Operations) The 224-page book has a 16-page spread on the Breakout titled The Coolest CVO Softtail Yet. Tons of beautiful photos of all the CVO bikes.

Book is very nice with many nice pictures. Would have loved to see some more regarding CVO manufacturing and assembly.

I would've loved to see a table of production numbers by color combo and region.
This info is available from the moco. Also, a feature on parts, accessories that were exclusive to the CVO. There are pics of the leather '06,'07 tourpaks but they're not mentioned.

I got my book in good shape yesterday from Amazon. Looks very nice and I am looking forward to reading it from cover to cover.
As others have said I would love to have had more photos and info on manufacturing and assembly including production numbers for each year and color. Some may be in the narrative that I haven't read yet though.

As I'm sure most of us have done I looked first for the photos of my CVOs that I have owned and I discovered an error on page 41....... the caption doesn't seem to match the order of the photos? It states the Autumn Haze model was at top but in fact the photo of it is in the middle.
And as others have mentioned maybe in a second edition a chapter could be added to include the CVO website and photos of get togethers and owner input about the CVO?

I saw a bunch of errors in the CVO Breakout section. They started the chapter with the 2013 Breakout but the accompanying photographs were all 2014 Breakouts with the exception of a CVO Springer that shouldn't have been there at all. They never included the cobalt blue Breakout (guess the Springer took it's place) and they listed the wrong color for the blaze orange Breakout. Book definitely needed a better editor and proof reader. Having said that, I'm glad I bought the book. It's loaded with nice photos and good information. Always room for improvement.

I've spotted quite a few seeming 'gaps' or continuity errors. There are several column-inches of text about the 2007 Ultras and their new 110 and wheels and paint and...no pictures. My 2010 CUSE5 is prominently featured in pics but many of the beautiful photos are skewed in chronological ordering...by several years for some.
A pic of the 2006 SE103 Derby cover is a regrettable omission.
It's still a great book. I'm not letting it go!

I noticed the mistakes in the Breakout section but it didn't faze me as my CVO Breakout featured quite well, on top of that it was awesome to se my VRXSE got a nice write up in there at the back, never find much info on these rare beauties
