Turbocharger Kit
« on: February 14, 2007, 01:39:23 AM »

I just found a Harley bulletin from 1985 . It shows they had a Turbo Kit avalable,
the part number is 91846-85. I dont remember Harley selling these things.
But, then again, there are a lot of things I dont remember.

A bit of a surprise (to me anyway).  But Chicago Harley and Surdyke's online sites both still show the part number as active also.  Cost of just under $1500.00.  No real discount at Surdyke but the normal 20% showing up at Chicago HD.

It was discontinued in 1985. It still shows on our and Surdykes site because H-D for some unknown reason still has it in their price book.

I'm curious about its actual fitment myself, bet it would be worth some cash nowadays.

The stock pistons for the 110" SE motors are part number 22847-07 and are available from H-D sold each with rings & pin.

Thanks for the welcomes I have a few customers who keep telling me about this site figured I stop in. Not likely to be around too much because of work but I'll stop in when I can.

Thanks for the P/N. HD actually made SE pistons for this engine, 10.25 or 10.5:1's not sure, for a short time and then pulled them. I was wondering about those pistons being available anywhere. But if I bug you about parts, you'll never come back. So just enjoy yourself here! ;D Hoist! 8)

no biggie i'm on the clock at the moment. I don't recall there being an improved piston for the 110 and I can't find a bulletin on anything getting discontinued. If you have a part number I'll check into it and see if there was a reason they got pulled (or find dealers that supposedly have them and post the results here.
