chassis performance specialists?
« on: August 05, 2017, 06:15:13 PM »

There are engine builders...  Are there any chassis/suspension shops out there?  I am not even close to being mechanical, so I would like to send my '04 Black/Blue with 38K on the clock, to someone to rebuild my bike to either new or better.  No engine work right now, only suspension/chassis/handling work.  I could trade it, but I like it, and have done a lot of customization to it over the years.  Or is this something I should just give to my long term mechanic who has been taking care of me for the last 14 years.  I imagine that I can just ask him to install new Ohlins and EVERYTHING that is a suspension/chassis piece.  I love the bike but it is now 14 years and 38K miles old.  That's a lot.  There's new technology out there, maybe some of it can be adapted to my B/B.
Thank you guys...

Take a look at a company called Compu Track Boston,  he's located in Bellingham, Ma. actually.  He has a Frame alignment machine and is a suspension specialist for race bikes.  Might be what your looking for???
